The Innocence Project of Texas released a report on Monday, September 21 about Texas’s use of dog scent lineups in criminal cases. The report details the work of Deputy Keith Pikett, whose work has led to the incarceration of potentially hundreds of Texas citizens, some of which were later proven innocent by DNA evidence or confessions from the actual perpetrators.
